Information about Ms. Martina

Martina Jaatinen is a final-year doctoral student at Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, working toward her PsyD. She has been an intern at Brain & Behavioral Neuropsychology since August and previously gained experience through placements at other private practices in the broader tristate area, where she provided assessment and therapy services. Martina has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families navigating a variety of challenges, including mood stability difficulties such as anxiety and depression, interpersonal and family conflicts, and communication difficulties. She has helped individuals develop coping skills and foster compassionate communication, supported parents in implementing positive discipline and engaging in parent management training, and guided families through family and sibling conflicts. While Martina has developed techniques for working with a diverse client base, she specializes in supporting youth, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, stress, and interpersonal conflicts. Through her extensive clinical training, Martina has developed evidence-based methods across multiple disciplines that enable her to tailor care to her clients’ specific needs. She currently has availability on Mondays.
