Psychoeducational Evaluation

  • Psychoeducational evaluations are often conducted by your local school district. This type of evaluation is focused on the student's cognitive or intellectual fucntioning and their academic functioning. A screening for emotional/behavioral functioning is also included.

Because this evaluation is limited in scope the recommendations will only focus on academics.

  • This evaluation is often used for students who have participated in past evaluations and need to complete updated testing.

  • Testing can be completed in one day. It will include a measure of cognitive or intellectual functioning and measure(s) of academic functioning. Rating forms will also be used to screen for behavioral/emotional functioning.

The evaluation will also include interviews with the parent, the youth, and (with consent) the youth's teacher (when available) to gain a sense of the youth's day-to-day functioning as related to their academics.

You can add on testing for autism spectrum disorder for an additional fee of $850.

  • The fee for this evaluation is $3,200 and includes all aspects of the evaluation: the parent interview, record review up to 1 inch thick, in-person testing including the youth's interview, collateral interviews (1 hour is included), rating forms, and feedback to the parent. If desired, an additional feedback session for the youth is offered (this is advised to be in person).

If you would like to add additional testing for autism spectrum disorder, there would be an additional fee of $850.

Payment is due at the first in-person testing session.
