School Admissions Testing

This evaluation is designed to measure intellectual functioning for admissions into private academic institutions, or for another similar purpose.

This should be used for school admissions only, and not be utilized if there are questions of neurocognitive functioning or learning concerns.

A brief interview is completed with the parents prior to the testing. No records are reviewed.
In-person testing usually takes one to two hours. A cognitive or IQ measure is administered.
A report containing the pertinent history and outcome of the assessment is provided to the family following a brief feedback session. There are no recommendations given.

The fee for this evaluation is $750. This fee includes all aspects of the evaluation; the brief interview with the parent and youth, in-person cognitive testing, rating form of adaptive functioning, report, and brief feedback to the parent.
