Dr. Gail McArdile Martin

Dr. Martin is a Spanish-speaking bilingual licensed clinical neuropsychologist with extensive experience in both pediatric and adult neuropsychological assessment. Her expertise includes diagnosing a variety of cognitive impairments, such as learning and attention difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders, medical conditions, and complex psychiatric challenges. She has broad experience in cognitive and neurobehavioral assessment across the lifespan and in various settings, including schools, hospitals (inpatient and outpatient), and rehabilitation facilities.

Dr. Martin considers neuropsychological evaluation a vital tool for gathering comprehensive information about an individual’s strengths and needs, allowing her to provide tailored recommendations and strategies to address these areas and nurture their strengths. Furthermore, she presents and advocates for patients with chronic cognitive conditions at numerous conferences and symposiums, focusing on managing chronic stress and mood issues related to neurological deficits.

Dr. Martin is a member of several professional organizations licensed in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Psypact. A native of New Jersey, she completed her early education and training in the New York City area, earning her bachelor’s and graduate degrees from local institutions, including Fordham University, Columbia University, and Saint Peter’s University. She later moved to Philadelphia where she specialized in school and clinical neuropsychology, obtaining degrees from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Immaculata University.
